Christopher Arendt

Christopher Arendt

From: Michigan
U.S. Army National Guard

From the Artist:

My work is an interrogation into my relationship with my memories of the things I have seen. My work is the publication of these interrogations that leave myself, the memories or the things I have seen, vulnerable to judgement and forgiveness.

About the Artist:

Christopher Arendt is a Michigan Army National Guard Veteran who was deployed to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba in 2004. Since his deployment, Chris has been creating work focused on exploring the concepts of man's relationship with God, guilt, forgiveness, time, and detention.
