From the artist:
Growing up in a military environment, I moved frequently across the US as a child and was exposed to much of the diverse history and romance or our country. Coupling this with a vivid imagination and a love for art, I began drawing, painting and sculpting images that reflected my interest in our nation's heritage and landscape.
After graduating from college, I served in the US Army as an infantryman in Vietnam where I was wounded in an enemy ambush. When I returned to civilian life, I began my career as a fine artist. I finally was having the opportunity to professionally express my appreciation for our country and heroic historical America. It is important to me to pay tribute to the significant people and events that have shaped the unique heritage of our country.
I like to think that my style is realistic with a special emphasis on bold movement, intricate detail and of course, historic accuracy. I feel that fine art should tell a story, express emotion and give the viewer the sensation that he has actually experienced an important moment in history.
Creating works of art has been a lifestyle for me and I look forward to future opportunities to explore new challenges and stretch my talents and imagination.
