I carve mostly for the mere pleasure it gives me. This work was conceived after I realized I had never put my feelings about Vietnam into my means of expression-- wood carving. The piece itself is carved from a solid piece of walnut. Having never sold a work, I find it difficult to estimate a value. The value to me comes from creating the piece.
